Youth and Young Adults Programs Specialist: Discipleship Ministries
The Youth and Young Adult Programs Specialist – This position primarily interacts with program partners in local churches, Emmaus Ministries communities, and campus ministries for the purpose of building and cultivating relationships with program partners in order to improve their quality of experience with The Upper Room. Collects information, conducts follow-up, and communicates regularly with program partners and prospects; maintains contact lists and records and performs administrative tasks for Youth and Young Adult Spiritual Formation Programs.
The successful candidate must demonstrate strong communication skills verbally and in multiple writing forms; strong interpersonal skills to communicate effectively and courteously with a diverse group of ministry partners; high degree of self-motivation and self-discipline. Must be able to effectively manage time for completion of assigned tasks; ability to use discretion, judgement, and initiative; demonstrated organizational skills; willingness to work independently, or with a team on projects; and demonstrated experience with Microsoft Office software such as Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Education / Specialized Knowledge / Experience
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalency/ Knowledge of church structures/youth or young adult ministry and spiritual formation are preferred / One to three years of related experience and experience with outbound calling and relationship building are preferred.
