Each Summer for over 40 years the Detroit Annual Conference, and now Lake Louise United Methodist Camp, have hosted Choir Camp for 100+ children and youth. This gathering brings together young people for faith formation through the practice of sacred music, and provides a community of support for youth as they make their way through adolescence. The counselors, deans and choral directors at Choir Camp become fixtures in the lives of young people, walking with them as they grow from 4th through 12th grades. Through evening devotions, small groups and contract classes youth explore all facets of their creative skills and how those gifts can enrich their deep discipleship of Jesus Christ.
