Wespath is The UMC’s employee pensions and benefits agency. That means we’re in charge of the retirement, health and wellness programs and services that are offered to the employees at your local church. We are one of the largest faith-based investors in the world, and we’re committed to investing sustainably, responsibly and in line with UMC values.

At YOUTH 2023, Wespath will be represented by Ryan McQueeney, our manager of investments marketing and communications. Ryan helps oversee all the investing-related content we share with The UMC community—from financial market updates and investing tips, to the latest highlights from our award-winning sustainable investment program. Ryan will be at the Wespath booth throughout the week—make sure you come say hi!

Ryan will also be leading a workshop at the event, “Money Matters: How Investing Can Positively Impact People and the Planet.” This workshop will teach you the basics of saving and investing money, and we’ll discuss how your financial decisions are connected to global challenges like climate change and inequality. If you want to learn more ways that you can contribute to positive progress on today’s issues, this workshop is for you!
