He Tracks Our Tears

7.3 billion. There are 7.3 billion people on this planet, yet God is still able to be continuously involved and working in each and every person's life, regardless of whether or not they give Him the credit. Just how amazing His omniscience (complete knowledge) and omnipotence (complete power) must be! If He can handle 7.3 million people and not get lives, names, families, problems, or prayers confused, you better believe He can handle what you are struggling with today.

Trust me when I say, GOD KNOWS!

I know at times doubt may creep in and makes us question, "is all this really worth it?" I know at times exhaustion comes in and makes us say, "God when will my relief come?" We become frustrated when we go to a friend, family member, or even spiritual leader, and their only response is, "just pray about it." As if you haven't been doing that all along.

I know this feeling of frustration all too well. Being a natural giver, I struggle with caring for other more than I care for myself. Often, I become so concerned with others progression, that I find myself becoming stagnant, or even back tracking. So many times these type of episodes have left me feeling empty and with low self-esteem. So many times these type of episodes leave me angrily saying "I gave my all, but leave with nothing to show for it." "I sacrificed this, but you couldn't even give me that." Trust me when I say, GOD KNOWS!

Or maybe, you have been waiting patiently and working earnestly on yourself, in school, at work, in the church, within in your family, etc... But you have seen no results or received no credit. GOD KNOWS!

A scripture that has stayed close to me in my times of need is Psalm 56:8:

"You keep track of all my sorrows.
You have collected all my tears in your bottle.
You have recorded each one in your book."

You see GOD KNOWS because He keeps track of each and every tear His beloved children cries.

He sees that you are hurt.

He sees that you are tired.

He sees that you are depressed.

He sees that you are weary.

He hasn't forgotten YOU. He knows YOU. He hears YOU. And right now, He is working out YOUR needs into a blessing for YOU. All YOU have to do is just surrender YOUR life over into His hands and will!

Discussion Questions: What area(s) of your life do you need to surrender over to God?
