Creating Ministries That Matter: Theological Innovation in Your Context
Leaders will be guided through the Innovation Lab’s five-phase Theological Innovation Process as a pathway for designing creative and transformative ministries in their unique contexts. We’ll explore a case study of a nationwide challenge facing young people – the teenage mental health crisis – and imagine innovative ministries that could address this challenge in a theologically-grounded way. Participants will leave with a new framework for developing ministries that authentically meet the specific needs and engage the assets of youth in their own communities.

How will it help you be BOLD? At the Lab we believe innovation isn’t synonymous with “cutting-edge” or “new.” We believe innovation starts from the ground up and must be contextual. Honoring the uniqueness of every church, community, and attendee will be a critical aspect of this workshop as we explore the work of innovation together.
